The Pitt Business Dean’s List recognizes exemplary academic performance by our students.
The requirements for the Spring 2025 Dean’s List were:
At least 12 earned credits
Term GPA of at least 3.50
No grade lower than a C (this includes NC grades)

Provide support for travel and other educational expenses of undergraduate students in the School of Business. Recipients must meet the eligibility requirements for financial need as determined by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.
Requirements:
At least a 3.00 cumulative GPA
Demonstrated financial need

This scholarship was created to enable Pitt Business students to accept challenging internships that prepare them as outstanding business leaders for the 21st century. Scholarships are awarded for significant, professional business internships that provide little or no compensation for the Pitt Business student. These could include young, fast-growth companies, not-for-profit organizations, or unfunded project work within a company division. Awards will be determined by the Office of the Dean and Pitt Business Career Development.
Requirements:
Be enrolled full-time in the School of Business as a BSBA or double-degree student
Have a 3.0 or better GPA
Be enrolled in the Pitt Business OCC program
Submit an application for the internship scholarship
Submit a cover letter explaining how the internship fits into your career development and how the Tafel Scholarship could help you achieve the internship

The award is designed to directly offset traveling and other expenses associated with field study experiences, unpaid internship opportunities, and applicable study abroad experiences for Environmental Studies majors. Funding is limited and the award process is competitive
